The House of Prayer

The House of Prayer met at New Life Fellowship last Wednesday night and it was powerful.  As the people began to chronicle the Word from Psalm 69, I was captivated by the Holy Spirit in what was happening right before me.  God was delivering a word for revival through many different people.  Everyone was asked to give just one word that really stood out to them and the spiritual sentence that came together from the Holy Spirit was amazing.

This is what God said through His people.  Through thy SAVING FAITHFULNESS, we can ARISE, through HIS NAME.  SALVATION will come as we EMBRACE with ZEAL, PRAISE, and THANKSGIVING the ILLUMINATION by the Holy Spirit the WORKERS who function through the GREATNESS OF HIS COMPASSION.

This past Saturday night and Sunday morning I began to preach that word and came to the realization that through that word placed into the context of the entire chapter is the move of the Spirit of God being released at this time.  This word was the call for the people at New Life Fellowship.  What an amazing Word from God.  My heart rejoices with that congregation over the potential and opportunity that our Lord is giving to them.

As I sat in that gathering I must tell you the passage from that chapter that came to my mind.  Psa 69:19-20 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.  Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

This passage and the reality of this passage is what I believe is the key to unlocking through faith the Word that God gave to that congregation of Wednesday night.  In one short article, it is hard to write all that is in these words, however, I will say that through Reproach, which means; to be stripped away, that is to be laid vulnerable and bear we will find our way to the fulfillment of the Word from God.  As well, through Shame, which means the emotion of being disappointed or delayed in something we will find our way to the fulfillment of that Word from God.  As well, through dishonor, which means to be wounded to the point of confusion and hurt we will find our way to the fulfillment of this Word.  The adversary in this text means those who seek to cramp or shut up the flow of God's word, will, and ways from the people.

Though it may seem improbable, I feel I need to say to the people of New Life, God is looking to bring you into a last-day revival for our region that will take us from earth to heaven.  Don't lose faith because of the circumstances of your life.  Press into the Word that God has so graciously given to the congregation and through the reproach, shame, dishonor, and the adversaries that will come against it keep launching out into the deep waters of our Lord, for in them you will find the wave of the Spirit that you have been looking for.
