It’s wild how intense the “wrestling match” of the soul can be sometimes…

And God allows us to feel

the tug,

the pull,

the back and forth…

And if we pay attention,

We’ll sense a stirring…

We’ll know that something is happening…

This morning as I sat down at the table, I sensed Him drawing me to “sit and wait“…

to “…just dwell with Me, and I will give you sight to see…”

If we turn and look to Him,

if we look to His Word,

He’ll show us,

He’ll remind us

that He is doing a good work in us. 💗✨

He is doing something beautiful

within our broken, imperfect places.

It’s a thing that only He can do. 💖☀️

“He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”—Psalm 23:3 AMP

“Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.”—Psalm 62:1

And it’s as if…

within these moments…

these areas within my soul

the “tug and pull”

…begin to dissolve…

in the deeper awareness of His presence. 💖🍃

As I remember,

that He

lives

in me.

“To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.“—Colossians 1:27

And I set my gaze

upon Him

moment by moment,

again, and again…

I set my eyes upon

what truly matters to Him.

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”—2 Corinthians 3:18

Thank You, Jesus, for what You’ve done for me!

How You are setting me free!

You are creating capacity

in me

to be…

one who sings of Your glory,

as I LIVE within the pages

of Your beautiful, redemptive story.

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you.” — Psalm 9:10

We were created for His glory!

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.“—Ephesians 2:10

“Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.”—Psalm 79:9

And He takes and uses, even our “imperfect pages”…

For He has chosen us,

He has written us into His story,

that we might LIVE a LIFE with Him,

—a life of “redeemed pages”…

a story

that brings Him glory. 🙌✨

“Praise the Lord, my soul;
