This morning I was reminded of the writings of Habakkuk when I came across a video clip of a message from Billy Graham…

…And the theme of this actually meshes with the theme of a dream I had early this morning.

I won’t go into the detail of the dream, but I will go into the theme…

In the dream, I was in a situation where I was

pleasantly surprised—and comforted

by something that I realized

—a thing that God had been working on,

orchestrating,

putting together for me, that I was unaware of.

But as the work of His hand surfaced…

—as this thing finally

came

together

I realized, and I was able to see…

a glimpse

of what He had been orchestrating

all along,

and I still had a way to go, yet…

but by this glimpse,

I was comforted and surprised

and reminded

that HE IS AT WORK BEHIND THE SCENES! 💖✨

And it’s not that God was “withholding His goodness” from me until then,

it just wasn’t time for me to see what He was doing yet,

…until it was the right time. 💗⏰

It’s a beautiful thing for us to ask God questions,

to seek Him for understanding, for answers…

He doesn’t mind when we ask for a “Q & A” with Him…

But I am realizing,

that it’s far more beautiful…

when God lovingly says to us,

“…it is not for you to know right now, but trust Me, even when you cannot perceive what I am doing…”

Because in these times…

He’s growing us,

He’s preparing us,

He’s teaching us

a deeper level of trust.

And while in these places in life,

we can KNOW

that He is going to one day

surprise us with His goodness,

as we SEE the beautiful thing

that He has been orchestrating, and pulling together.

“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’”—1 Corinthians 2:9

So thank You, Father…

even for things that You are orchestrating

that we cannot comprehend or understand.

These hidden things that You are doing

with Your MIGHTY right hand!

“You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.”—Psalm 16:11

“My times are in Your hand…”—Psalm 31:15

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father,
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all of us are the work of Your hand.”—Isaiah 64:8

God, thank You for what You do,

and for what You BUILD

within

us…

when we seek You for “answers”

and You respond and say,

“…it’s not for you to know today…but watch, and wait—trust, and hang onto Me, expectantly!”

For we know…

that in these times,

we can expect

…to be filled with surprise,

when there comes a clearing,

and we can see

what You have so gloriously been up to… ✨

“Your right hand, O Lord, is majestic in power,
Your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.”—Exodus 15:6

…and God, we will be forever

in awe and in wonder of You.
