“Jesus is so excited about His partnership with you in this world, that He said the following: I am not praying that you take them out of the world.” (John 17:15 HCSB)
“Because they didn’t join the world’s ways, just as I didn’t join the world’s ways. I’m not asking that you take them out of the world.” John 17:15 (The Message)
If you can allow yourself to think for a moment in the realm of your wildest dreams: in ‘Him’, you have landed the recording contract of the ages. You are the Mantra (which means the song) of Jesus. With His singing contract; the difference is our contract is for the sake of the world and is out of this world!
God designed us with the intention that we are the melody making the music in his world. In Him, together we are the Song of Songs. Ours is a journey of partnership with the very one who created everything, including the ‘world.’ As such, we walk a tightrope of being in the world to add sound, taste and a palate of eternal color, while not being of the world!
In Christ, we are also what make this place have meaning and destiny. We are the world’s true ‘spirit-led’ composers and entrepreneurs. We are destined to become the Co-CEO’s of the only purposeful and gainful futures trading.
Is that some kind of ‘religious’ double-talk? No! The world; while it is intriguing, beautiful and a continuous frontier awaiting discovery~~would be at best off key, hopeless, drab and mundane apart from our being here.
So? So don’t take yourself out of the world! Engage with the passion of one who is convinced they are His Mantra. You are here to create the symphony of authentic and permanent wealth. As such, we are the sole proprietors of the only gainful employment of the future.
‘My life is on display in them. For I’m no longer going to be visible in the world; they’ll continue in the world while I return to you. Holy Father, guard them as they pursue this life that you conferred as a gift through me…guard them from the evil one.
They are no more defined by the world than I am defined by the world. Sanctify (which means make them set-apart, holy and consecrated) them by the truth; your word is the truth. Help them listen only to the sound (mantra-song) of my truth. Make them know that the only ‘truth-mantra’ is whatever I sing over and through them.’ (Adapted from John 17)
“In the same way that you gave me a mission in the world, I give them a mission in the world. I’m consecrating myself for their sakes, so they’ll be truth—consecrated in their mission.” John 17:18 (The Message)
“He saw something of greater value in man than in heaven, and for that reason He emptied heaven, emptied Himself into human form” Phil 2:7 (HCSB)
Our lives become His siren song, attracting all who hear to come to Him, the Master Composer. We sing His Mantra of Salvation!
I'll write the book on Hallelujahs; on the corner of Main and First I'll hold a street meeting; I'll be the song leader; we'll fill the air with salvation songs. (Ps. 9:14-MSG.)
I'm about to burst with song; I can't keep quiet about you. God, my God, I can't thank you enough. (Ps. 30:12-MSG.)
Invent your own new song to him; give him a trumpet fanfare. (Ps. 33:3-MSG.)
He taught me how to sing the latest God-song, a praise-song to our God. More and more people are seeing this: they enter the mystery, abandoning themselves to God. (Ps. 40:3-MSG.)
Your love, God, is my song, and I'll sing it! I'm forever telling everyone how faithful you are. (Ps. 89:1-MSG.)
A miserable heart means a miserable life; a cheerful heart fills the day with song. (Prov. 15:15-MSG.)
But you will sing, sing through an all-night holy feast! Your hearts will burst with song, make music like the sound of flutes on parade, En route to the mountain of God, on the way to the Rock of Israel. (Is. 30:29-MSG.)
"So you'll go out in joy, you'll be led into a whole and complete life. The mountains and hills will lead the parade, bursting with song. All the trees of the forest will join the procession, exuberant with applause. (Is. 55:12-MSG.)
And they sang a new song: Worthy! Take the scroll, open its seals. Slain! Paying in blood, you bought men and women, Bought them back from all over the earth, Bought them back for God. (Rev. 5:9-MSG.)
What song will your life sing today?
In the grip of His Mantra! Ron Ross
