Nurtured by Understanding and Expression
“May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ” 2 Thess. 3:4, New Living Translation.
Take note: the Lord does the leading! Maybe yesterday was a bit tougher than it had to be. Why? Because, I/You didn’t rest in his complete; well, completeness. In Him, we are a finished work of divine, extravagant grace (God’s riches at Christ’s expense). Add to or take away from that and you have the “mess” of religious dead works. Our “righteousness” is always as filthy rags.
What is Papa’s “gig” today? At the very least; it is leading our hearts into a fuller understanding of and the subsequent expression of His love, coupled with patient endurance. Here would be the ‘appropriate’ place to add an “AWESOME”!!! I double dog dare you to believe the gospel for yourself today!
Jesus provides the example, way and power to more fully experience and express his Papa’s (and now our) love. Whatever you faith and express in the “now” moment will overtake your heart. Once our hearts are overtaken by Papa’s love, we will explode into Christ-likeness! Sounds like the makings of a wonderful day. And you can “rest” in that…
