“If we don’t come together right now, on this hallowed ground we will be destroyed…” President Abraham Lincoln
Do you want your future to mirror your past? Certainly not! It will, if you don’t grab the immediacy of the present! The immediacy of the present calls us deeper. The immediacy of this moment is calling us together right now!!! The immediacy of the present draws us into Father’s heart right now. And Father’s heart draws us into the immediacy of His view of the present.
“What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand new life (the immediacy of His life is our life) and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now. God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The day (your future starts now) is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.” 1 Peter 1:3-5
Following are some of the gifts of immediacy:
- a. Faith’s focus of the future-‘There’s a day coming when the mountain of God’s House ‘Will’ be the Mountain—solid, towering over all mountains. All Nations will river toward it, people from all over set out for it. They’ll say, “Come, let’s climb God’s Mountain, go to the House of the God of Jacob. He’ll show us the way He works, so we can live the way we’re made…’ Is. 2:2-3a (The Message)
- b. Knowing/Showing the way-‘Because when all is said and done, the last word is Immanuel—God-With-Us. God spoke strongly to me grabbing me with both hands and warned me not to go along with this people (the mindless, directionless worldly crowd). He said: “Don’t be like this people, always afraid someone is plotting against them (religiously paranoid). Don’t fear what they fear. Don’t take on their worries. If you’re going to worry, worry about the Holy Fear God-of-the-Angel Armies. The Holy can be either a Hiding Place or a Boulder blocking your way.’ Is. 8:10b-14a (The Message)
- c. Limitless power source in immediacy-‘Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, “God has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”? Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go, God lasts. He’s creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And He knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to drop-outs. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, They walk and don’t lag behind.’ Is.40: 27-31 (The Message)
Your call to prayer is always greater than your response. In these days that are upon you; prayer is my greatest call. The turmoil and uncertainty of the world around you will continue to deteriorate. This will escalate as in the days of Noah.

My peace will transcend all understanding and will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Look and expect the immediacy of My guard over your heart and mind. In this prayerful and transcendent place you will tap into the artesian flow of immediacy of provision. Here you will receive more than adequate grace, mercy, direction, and prophetic unction and the sounds of heaven! In this transcendent place you will have no need to ‘lean on your own understanding—instead; confidently lean, with all your weight, into Jesus.
Here you are always invited to ask for My Wisdom. I will interpret the times; moment by moment—in the immediacy of each moment, My Holy Spirit will be your teacher; leading and guiding you into all the truth. ‘If you lack wisdom, ask of Me and I will give it liberally and I will never tire of your asking.
This transcendent place of immediacy will become the open door of My presence and will keep you in faith and singleness of mind and heart. Abide and rest here. Lay your head on my chest and hear the passionate beat of immediacy.
