"Then the Lord replied: Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:2-3 NIV)
After presenting ourselves to Papa and quieting our core (heart, mind, will and emotions) we are then ready "to see what God says." Presenting is 'spiritual posture' and quieting is 'restful, obe "die" nt waiting. While in waiting we synchronize 'with' and dive 'into' Father's compassionate heartbeat.
We cease striving; and start 'trusting in the Lord with all of our heart, and leaning "NOT" to our own understanding ('sark' is the original word that translates to our own understanding).'From that 'spiritual posture' we can stop 'sarking' long enough to gain 'His heart-sight'.
'Sarking' is seeing life according to our view of who people are and how things 'should' be. (Repeat after me...I will not 'should' on myself.) 'I' also wrongly believe that 'I' know or can determine the right thing to do or be. 'I' and people around me become what they have done (the sum of my/their mistakes) or what we want them to become.
'His heart-sight'brings hope and direction, enabling me/us to 'see what He is saying'. Seeing situations, ourselves, and others the way they were meant to be instead of only seeing what went wrong. Spiritual and prophetic vision emerges; nurturing, restoring, guiding, equipping, and training us to 'walk by Holy Spirit'.
Forgiveness flows from the 'severe' mercy of brokenness and forgiveness. We see our/others purpose as more important than our/others 'malfunctions'. There we can create 'belonging' and 'safety'. This makes us a 'people of refuge' and we become a restorative, just community! We turn from being and remaining an accusing, judgmental, dysfunctional, and dis-honoring people.
We are "enlarged" in the waiting. Slowly but surely; our Outer Journey mirrors our Inner Journey, becoming a glorious reflection of Father's loving, strong heartbeat to an anemic world. Our presence becomes shalom (peace, completeness, soundness, and welfare) and quiet (the lowering of our energy level, the unwinding of our gyro's, and the daily walk of focus/'sabbath'; after both, joyful and/or upsetting life experiences).
The greater part of our enlargement in waiting is choosing to be demonstrative in love. We are compelled to love God, our true self in Christ and others. In the state of God's love, we can embrace change and transition. We can expect the unexpected. A stretching result of enlargement is that our capacity for all that God wants to pour into and through our life increases.
God will continue to whisper to us in our pleasures, speak to us in our conscience and shout to us in our pain. (C.S. Lewis) "Be patient--the future does not look like the past--you are in the hall-way of transition. I Am re-infusing you with Mercy and Grace. I Am un-failingly redemptive in and through you!"
"It will seem like all hell has broken loose--sun, moon, stars, earth, sea, in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be-quaking.
And then--then!--they'll see the Son of Man welcomed in grand style--a glorious welcome! When all this starts to happen, up on your feet. Stand tall with your heads high. Help is on the way!" (Luke 21:25-28, The Message)
