“O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described.

Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God! I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory.

For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God! Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart!” Psalm 63: 1-4 TPT

GOD: “Only I can awaken your intimacy taste buds, to enjoy the feast of Me. To know Me well you must first be confused and confounded by Me. Why? Because no one can know Me by figuring Me out or according to your own understanding and intellect. You must seek for Me with all your strength and learn of Me. I will readily and willingly reveal Myself to you!

Only in the mystery of suffering well, of not wasting your sorrows will you cease to try to fit Me into your understanding! Only here can you begin to live by faith and trust and cease to live by your own understanding/opinions. Without mystery drawing you into faith you will make the mind of the flesh your center. The mind of the Spirit can alone help you navigate the mystery of My life!

As you continue to stand before Me in ‘mystery’ you will; in time, rest in My strong, trust-worthy arms. Suffering without demanding an explanation will create the bountiful ground of faith in Me. This will grow into a faith life that simply looks for My heart, not My answers.”

We can only fellowship with Jesus to the extent too which we ‘live and move and have our being in Him’. Only to the extent to which we can give our heart away to them (Father, Jesus And Holy Spirit) will we be truly satisfied in any state of being. Their love demands us to press on, to move deeper in them. To get to know them more, to fall in love just a bit more.

Oh, how much would we give for that which bears the potential to bring us a single step closer, a little step deeper. How much would we give for experiencing just a little more of their love and giving back to them just a beat more of our hearts? Yes, love demands us to press on. He ruined us for anything less! Like Peter we proclaim, “Lord, where else can I go?”

How far and deep are we willing to go to find their true essence? Will we traverse the heights, reach forth to the length and width and plumb the depths of His loving presence? Will we search out the mystery of His ways? Will we search for them until we draw our last breath? Ron Ross
