Nurtured by His Invincible Love
"Love is invincible facing danger and death. Passion laughs at the terrors of hell. The fire of love stops at nothing--it sweeps everything before it. Flood waters can't drown love; torrents of rain can't put it out. Love can't be bought, love can't be sold--it's not to be found in the marketplace." Song of Songs 8:7-8, The Message.
Could it be said more conclusively? Agape-God's love is the most powerful force in eternity. Yet, we probably doubt this love more than anything in our life. Look at the emphatic declarations of this love...invincible, passionate, laughing in the face of terror, stopping at nothing, sweeping away every obstacle in its path, and it can't be extinguished, bought or sold.
Yet, our own doubts stand in the way of our full experience of Papa's love. We must fight these doubts. We must draw a line in the sand of our faith journey when it comes to apprehending this great love! We must continually receive it.
We must allow our true self to be loved. Self-centeredness or selfishness (a distorted sense of self) blocks this love. But; the truest sense of self, (who we are in Christ) liberates us from the very prison that once held our fullest potential captive. We are freed by this love (in Him) to become all we were destined to be! Enjoy and revel in this powerful love today.
