• Henosis ( Ancient Greek: ἕνωσις) is the classical Greek word for @mystical "oneness", "union" or "unity". In Platonism, and especially Neoplatonism, the goal of henosis is union with what is fundamental in reality: the One
“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through mine, we live in union as one. My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!”
Galatians 2:20 TPT
Who am I? Who’s am I? These questions are the essence of personal identity. Our sense of self opens the door to our sense of belonging.
My deepest sense of personal identity is who I will make attachments with and allow myself to belong. Good or bad!
For example, ‘my’ dysfunctional family and relationships. Or ‘my’ Pimp. ‘My’ political party. ‘My’ ideology or philosophical viewpoint. ‘My’ dealer.
Freedom to be who you were created to be is only realized by identity in Jesus! Christ in me the hope of glory! Could it really be this simple? “I am my beloved’s and he is mine.”
