Sometimes “loving a person”

means simply,

a kind word spoken,

a heartfelt word of appreciation,

or just being near to those who are broken…

…mourning alongside those who are mourning.

Lord, help us to simply love with Your kind of love.

Many times these things seem so small,

and insignificant,

and often different than we think…

Does it seem to small to even matter?

But oh, how every act of lovingkindness matters…

…so much more

than we can know.
