Heavenly Father,

in this “day of deception”

…let us not be led astray.

Oh God,

will You lead us in Your way…

Lead our minds into

“whatever is true.”

Oh Lord,

lead us closer and closer

to You…

And God, I remember…

how faithful You have been

to remind me,

time and time again

…to “zero back in”

when my head begins to “spin”

—to return my focus,

back to You.

How You draw me back

to “whatever is true“

as You lead me into

what is truly of You.

Oh God, how we need You in this day.

How we need Your Spirit

to guide us in every way.

But Holy Spirit we know,

that You are faithful

to lead us, and to guide us

into “whatever is true.”

…and by Your Word, O God…

I am reminded…

that I need not be afraid…

because Your Spirit

abides in me, and I in You…

For You

are

faithful

to reveal the truth

that brings me peace

and sets me free…

…for You

abide in me,

and You

are

faithful

to lead me in the way

of “whatever is true.”

“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?“—1 Corinthians 3:16

“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, ³² and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”—John 8:31-32

“Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.”—John 6:56

“…the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.”—John 14:17

“However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.“—John 16:13

“Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons...”—1 Timothy 4:1

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.“—2 Timothy 4:3-4

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.“—John 14:26

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think on these things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice.“—Philippians 4:8-9
