Recently the Lord has been calling me to another level of intercession. The urgency of this call has felt like anxiety and was affecting my body in specific ways. I know that I am not a person prone to stress or anxiety even in the mixed of dire circumstances, so I knew something spiritual was going on. When I prayed about it I heard the Lord say “PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!” The tone was just that, LOUD.
I mentioned this to several people, especially those whom I know are intercessors and will come together with me in intercessory prayer. Friday evening, August 27th, a few of my prayer partners and I got together at one of their homes and spent time praying in the Spirit and seeking God. About a third of that time was just listening to hear what God would say to us as we desired to know how He would have us to pray. After a while, I found myself praying for the underground church in China. After the words of prayer was spoken over them, God began to show me the spiritual warfare that is currently going on in the nation of China for the United States.
It was rather bizarre, however this is what I saw in the Spirit and this is what I heard.
I saw Christians in China on their faces crying out to God for the United States of America. God called them the Faithful and True. Their prayers and intercessions were like incense lifting up to God and also like a scented smoke vexing the “Red Dragon.”
The Lord showed me that the Red Dragon is the spirit of China’s government. The Red Dragon would breathe out fire and lick his chops towards the United States. His claws appeared ready to pounce, but the scented smoke that proceeded from the prayers of the Chinese Christians would disorient the Red Dragon and cause it discomfort.
I continued praying for my brothers and sisters in China Saturday morning. When I went to bed Saturday night, totally exhausted from the day’s activities and looking for a good night’s rest, I once again found myself praying for the underground church in China. The Lord again spoke to me about them. He said “Pray that they will have boldness and courage to prophesy over the United States and speak out as Holy Spirit leads them. Pray that their prayers will not be hindered. And pray that a Heavenly Host of Angels will be dispatched to protect them from the Red Dragon.”
God said that He has not forgotten all of the spiritual seeds America has sown in China and that their harvest is now. As the Red Dragon gets bolder so will these believers. God is marshaling them as troops to be dispatched into strategic places in the world including the United States of America. At this point in history it will be Chinese Christians who will come and evangelize America even as it will be the Chinese government who will seek to subdue and oppress America.
I am certain that not one person who reads this blog will be surprised that the Red Dragon, that spirit that rules and reigns over China, seeks to have dominion, power and authority in the United States. However, what may be surprising to you is that the underground church in China is interceding for us. They have some spiritual depth that we do not have simply because of the sufferings they have endured for the sake of Christ. They have no religious freedoms to fight for. They cannot gather at their leisure. They are forced to live by faith every day and cannot afford to fear death. You think they can teach us a thing or two?
