Dear KPS Member.
Let us remind ourselves of the task that is at hand.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye…

Col 2:20-23 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
No more fitting passage of scripture could be considered for our day…Continue

When will you fight for that which has been fighting for you? Are you hungry for more? Love is waiting for you! Life is waiting for you. Peace and Shalom are waiting for you. Grace and Mercy are waiting for you. Dreams and visions are waiting for you.
Most of us have been living life backwards. We wait for the multitude of blessings that patiently wait for us to awaken to authentic hunger and thirst.
We are vexed by the lie that says that all of these blessings have…Continue

The response of Jesus has been in my mind for some time. He was the King of the Jews, however, the Jews must receive Him as the Son of God before He could be their King. We know from John 1:11-12 that He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God.
Our identity is basically threefold. What we say we are, is one identity. What God says we are, is another identity. What others say we are, is yet…Continue

While in prayer this morning the Lord spoke some things to me. When the Lord speaks to me normally it begins a process through which everything fits into the spectrum of what He has said to me. One of the things that God told me was to stop avoiding the unavoidable.
There are many things that we are told in the bible to shun, escape, or flee from. We are told in 2 Timothy 2:16 to shun profane and vain babblings. 2 Timothy 2:22 says, to flee from youthful lusts. 1 Corinthians…Continue

Faith and Risk
Anything in life that is profitable requires an element of risk. Nelson Mandela once said, “There is no passion to be found playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” You will never be able to move forward in life without risk being part of the equation. Taking the first step forward is always the hardest part of taking a risk, for this is the first step of “taking action”. We…Continue

The parallel between Elijah and John the Baptist in Matthew 11 brings to us principles that can bring understanding to the transition that I believe is occurring today. Elijah was a prophet who suffered under the government of King Ahab. John the Baptist preached a message of repentance and the government of that day under Herod jailed him and killed him. We cannot ignore the fact that the governments of this day would love nothing more than to destroy the message of the bible. In…Continue

The transition that is found in Matthew 11 teaches us practical things in terms of what can happen during times of transition. Matthew 11 begins with John in prison. He never left the prison alive. Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. All the prophets before John told of the Messiah to come. John spoke of the Messiah as here. The prophets of old told of the Christ in dark shadowy types and figures. John told of Him directly and guiding people to the…Continue

Last Monday morning I read Matthew 11, which I have preached many times. I could not get that passage off my mind. It consumed me completely. So I begin to prepare to preach that passage yet again this weekend. On Wednesday morning I received a phone call that my oldest brother had went to sleep and woke up in heaven. Matthew 11 took on a whole new meaning. I sat at the funeral and still this passage would not leave my mind. Some things from this passage have captivated my…Continue

As we look at Genesis 1:1, we see that God the creator, created the Heavens and the Earth. Then you look at John 1:1, and you see that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. God, being the spoken word created all things from the unseen realm.
The name of God used in Genesis 1:1 is Elohim. When you look up the meaning of Elohim at the Jewish virtual library, you see that Elohim is used in scripture, when emphasizing God’s might, His creative…
