Restored to Innocence: the state of not being guilty of a crime or offense, freedom from sin or evil…Do these statements define you and me? We will not likely live above what we believe about ourselves. If our self-view is tainted by shame we will accept ‘less’ as true of us.
The Grace Message of Jesus Christ makes it possible for us to believe what God believes about us! And that is that by faith we are righteous in Christ! And as such we are restored to innocence-as though we had never sinned. In this state of being the sky is the limit! Our perspective of destiny reflects His and we find ourselves aiming higher and higher!
My dear children, I write this letter to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone sins, we have Jesus Christ to help us. He always did what was right, so he is able to defend us before God the Father. 2 Jesus is the way our sins are taken away. And he is the way all people can have their sins taken away too.
