When you were a child, did you ever get excited about going somewhere special or doing some particular activity with your parents? Do you look forward to spending special time with your children and engaging in activities they enjoy? I venture to say the answer to these questions is an absolute “yes” you probably have fun together.
Do you ever stop to consider that God may feel the same way about us? I believe that as his children, he enjoys our company and looks forward to us spending time with him. The truth is that he is present with us every second of the day in everything we do. Have you ever wondered why ministry and serving can be fun? When we take the time to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading, it is exciting and fun. This is because we are co-laboring and are sharing in relationship with him that he has prepared beforehand.
