We have been granted supernatural access to ultimate reality from an eternal perspective. The mind of the One who created the universe is available to us!
Rom.12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
What does it mean to be transformed? When you transform something, you change it completely. When we renew something, we begin again. Add this together = Our minds are changed completely by beginning again.
We have all figured out that this is a process. We were not born into this world with a clear perception of God, or even ourselves. We began with distorted views, and we should strive to change our views to accurately reflect His character and Kingdom. We need wisdom to do this. (True wisdom is gazing at God--the Syrian)
Rom.8:6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death--death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter. But the mind of the Holy Spirit is life and soul peace [both now and forever!]
