The Law has no transformational power built into it. That was not its intent. The law was given to prove humanity’s helplessness to achieve right-standing (righteousness) with God. Christ’s perfection and atoning sacrifice fulfilled all that the Father required to reconcile the believer to Himself. Tirelessly managing ones’ behavior doesn’t transform the believer’s life, love does!
