The Shaking

So if you read this scripture, Hebrews 12:26-29, it seems clear that there is coming a shaking already in the plan. With all the banter around the election; "Who's the Better Candidate", "Who's Christian and Who's Not", Who's should we vote for, we have missed the question. What is God doing?God is in the midst of this chaos and He alone is shaking our political system top to bottom. It is not a Democrat or Republican question. It is not a person. It is not a philsophy. It is not delegate count. Not race or gender. It is the season we are in. Some would attempt to smooth it over with the cry "keep it the way it is", some clamor with the outcry for change. Those who are the deceived and maneuver to cloak their greed and personal agenda, will be revealed. Watch them shake as the walls they have erected begin crumble before their eyes. Watch them shake as this tremendous spiritual battle unfolds. Watch the desperation in their eyes and the monuments erected by men begin to fall. How those who follow Christ respond in the middle of this is most important. The divide between darkness and light will become clearer than ever before. The choice of who will you serve will become succinct. The economies of the world will buckle. What will remain is his Kingdom, these are the things that cannot be shaken. This for some is a terrifying time. For others it is the greatest move of God they have experienced. As you pray, listen, discuss and vote; does the shaking produce in you, fear or peace? Follow his voice and your peace will return.Hebrews‬ ‭12:26-29‬ ‭AMP‬‬“Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. [Hag. 2:6.]Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken–that is, of that which has been created–in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. [Ps. 102:26.]Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire. [Deut. 4:24.]”‭‭
