The Provision of the Cross

The Provision of the Cross

The Cornerstone laid, & Capstone provided in Zion.

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Zec 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

The table prepared.

Psa 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

The entrance to the stairway of Heaven.

Son 2:14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

The abode & shelter of the Redeemed.

Son 8:5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.

The Cornerstone laid in Zion.

Isa 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

“Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Who Christ is, as revealed by what He did on the cross, is the cornerstone of the true Christian faith. This is known as the cornerstone of the foundation. It is the foundation of the foundation. [see: “His Foundation is in the Holy Mountains” by brother cliff]

The cumulative revelations of the various types of the Old Testament; all pointing to a promised Messiah, have found their fulfillment in Jesus the Christ. From those slain by God in the garden to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve, to the Passover lamb, the two goats of the Day of Atonement, daily manna from heaven, the rock smitten in the desert that water would flow out, and multiple others; Christ Jesus alone has fulfilled and transcended them all through the finished work of the cross.

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

The Capstone provided in Zion.

Zec 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Gen 14:18  And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Both the individual Christian and the corporate Body of Christ have their beginnings in the finished work of the Cross of Jesus Christ, and their fullest expressions of maturity through the finished work of Christ.  The Church was birthed through the cross; as are we each born again out of the cleft of the Rock, upon repentance and faith toward God.

It is the mature sons and daughters of Zion, that are entrusted with the ministry of the substance and power of the finished work of the Cross in the last days. [The fruit of the Lamb slain for all, is represented by the bread and wine.] This is the ministry of the Kingdom of priests: the New Testament Order of Melchisedec.

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Rom 8:23 amp  And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God's sons).

The Table prepared in the presence of our enemies.

Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not

:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Beloved, we are in the beginnings of Matthew 24. It is incumbent upon those who are as the “ sons of Issachar” to sound the call to the Table of the Lord in these times of shaking.  The meat of the spiritual eagles is the Love Feast with the Holy Trinity. We are to feast upon the meat of the Open Book [Body] and drink deep of the Wine of His Love [Blood] in the very presence of our enemies. It is the food of the arising eagles; the sustenance of the pursuing Bride, and the portion of the maturing sons.

Eat, drink, and be married to the coming Bridegroom, King and Judge!

Job 39:27  Does the eagle mount up at your command and make his nest on [a] high [inaccessible place]?

:28  On the cliff he dwells and remains securely, upon the point of the rock and the stronghold.

:29  From there he spies out the prey; and his eyes see it afar off.

:30 His young ones suck up blood, and where the slain are, there is he.

It is with the confidence of Esther that we come before the King with our petitions, at the banqueting table. It was a love feast, a symbolic reenactment of the marriage covenant! When Esther received and drank of the wine from the King’s cup, she was saying; “ yes I reaffirm I am your bride and you are my King.”

This was done in the presence of all the authorities of the Kingdom; including her enemy Haman. While she feasted with the King, her petition was heard,  and her enemy was destroyed.

We are not widows banging on the doors of Heaven. We are the Bethrothed of the King; Who is desirous of our communion,  Jealous for us against our enemies,  and eager to answer our requests. We are His desired Elect!

Est 7:2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.

Luk 18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

Luk 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

The entrance to the stairway of Heaven.

Isa 51:1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

As Eve was taken from the opened side of  the first man; Adam, so we are being formed by the Father from that which poured forth from the rent side of the Lamb. Behold the Rock of ages: crucified on Calvary! There the Second Man died in Holy travail, giving birth to an infant Bride He had carried inside from Eternity past. Three days later, He brought Her forth from the lowest pit to ascend and reign with Him, from the Throne of Gory. Being His Beloved, we are to arise and shine as the glory of our Husband: Jesus Christ.

The Source of our birth is also our Door of ascension. Even as we continue on the journey of maturity with Hymn in the earth, we are ever positioned in His burning heart from which we came: “that art in the cleft of the Rock”.

Son 2:14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Stairs are not an elevator. A stairway not only take you up; it takes you up, over,  and beyond where you were. [And what you were facing!] Let us press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus; for Hymn Who loves us, and gave Himself for us!

Exo 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

Exo 33:21  And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

:22  And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

:23  And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Like the type of Moses, we also have been placed in the cleft of the Rock. But, as the New Covenant Israel of God, we are privileged to be called in Christ, unto a Face to face Holy Communion with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. There in the true Holy Place at the Table of Shewbread, may we eat much of the Bread of Faces and drink deep of the Wine of New Covenant cup of His Love. But not us not neglect to release the bread of our words and wine of our love to satisfy the hunger and thirst of the Trinity.

Deu 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consumingH398 fire, even a jealous God.  H398 'âkal A primitive root; to eat : burn up, consume, devour, dine, eat, feed (with), food,  freely, meat.

As we enter in, ascend, and behold the glory of the Lord in the face of Jesus Christ, we shall be changed and emerge as His glorious Church: Mount Zion; the Shining City in the tops of the mountains during these tumultuous end times.

The abode & shelter of the Redeemed.

Psa 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Psa 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Christ Jesus; One in Spirit with El Shaddai , [the many breasted, all-sufficient One], spread His wings out upon a tree at Calvary. Dying to draw all under the shadow of His manifest Love, He ever lives making intercession for the saints. As our Great High Priest and Heavenly Melchisedec He ministers in the power of Eternal Life the fruit of His Body and Blood.

The Cross of Jesus Christ is the Rock upon which we stand. It is the Foundation Stone of the house within which we dwell. We must ever dig deeper into the Truth revealed there and apply them diligently to our lives.

All whose house is established upon the Rock shall stand and be a Light house for others in the midst of the storms of life!

Luk 6:48  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

There were two trees in the Garden of Eden: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of Life. In the Throne room of Heaven, there is only the tree of Life in the midst of the River and along each of its banks. The cross of Christ; where His side was rent and Blood and Water poured forth,  is the true tree of Life for you and I!

Rev 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

:2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

This Tree of Life is the shelter of the redeemed. We are to rest in His shadow; feasting upon the fruit borne there through the sacrificed Body and Blood of the Lamb. It is from the place of this rest, that we war!

Son 2:3  As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

:4  He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

:5  Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.

Son 8:5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.
