Stay Wet In A Dry Land - The Waterfall In The Desert
Wouldn’t it be drastically horrifying to die of thirst in a desert when you are standing near a waterfall?
You say, “But I want the river to come to me. I do not want to have to go to the river. I do not believe in the river. I do not like the way the river does things. I do not like the way that others who go to the river behave.”
I understand all that. But you are dying in the desert. You are not created to be without water. You are dry, parched, dehydrated. Your muscles ache. Your brain swells with immeasurable pain. And now to come to the deluge is too difficult to do on your own.
That is okay. There are those of the River who help bring you to the River. How will you know them? They will be dripping wet. Be careful of the ones who are dry and have lots of rules. They may have visited the River, but they are not of the River.
Revelation 22:1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
The judgement of God is no more to be feared by the proud than the river is to be feared by the thirsty.
***Note*** To those who are of the River. Remember, you are of the River. You are not the River. Help them to the River. Oh, and stay wet. - Brian Higbee
