Nurtured by Being Inventive

Do you realize how many uses there are for "corn"? Are you sitting down? Corn has over five hundred uses and still counting. Thanks to the "inventive" George Washington Carver, the peanut has over three hundred life enhancing uses. This blows my mind on so many levels. God purposely designed into each aspect of his creation multitudinous blessings and uses.

Imagine; if he has such richness within "corn" and "peanuts", just think about you and me! Everyone, and I do mean everyone, is such a relatively untapped resource or mine of potential. The many products and uses for "corn" and "peanuts" are a tiny glimpse into the depths of discovery awaiting each redeemed child of Papa. Inventiveness is the key missing ingredient.

Too many of us believe that inventiveness is only for the inventor or discoverer. Not true! In no way has the vast divine potential within us been reached. "So let's do it--full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let's see how inventive we can be encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25, The Message.

This passage is pregnant with encouragement to become entrepreneurial pioneers in our Christianity. This "inventiveness" evokes a confidence in our potential (inwardly and outwardly) in Christ. Keeping a firm grip on Papa's faithfulness in and through us, we have the courage to risk being "inventive". I call forth this supernatural "inventiveness"; especially in regards to loving, serving, worshiping and spurring each other on to fullness and completeness! If we are anything significant, (and we certainly are) we are divinely called to become discoverers, miners, inventors, entrepreneurs, and pioneers. Be nurtured by being "inventive".

In the grip of Papa's cool inventive grace! Ron Ross
