The book of Revelation covers four main categories of sevens;the churches, the seals, the trumpets, and the vials. In this teaching, Alan Smith discusses two of those seven churches. We learn more about the church in Smyrna and the church in Pergamum. With each church, Alan goes into greater detail their message, their history, their people, and their meanings. We see how Jesus is identifying to each one; Smyrna representing the extremes which is also that of His nature and Pergamum representing God’s word. God uses symbols that we can see to speak to us and they are showing up all around in our current time. We have more similarities with the challenges and the promises given to these churches than we realize which gets revealed in this teaching.
