In chapter 11 of Romans, Paul is bringing up the Jewish nation as a way to teach us how learn and receive how God works and thinks. We see the Jewish nation was Gods expression to the earth at one time before it was put aside. This is not to say God has forgotten His people. God’s desire is to provoke Israel to jealousy for worldwide blessings can never come until Israel is in right relations with God. A blindness has fallen on Israel that has the Jews resistant to the gospel. Israel’s fall from the blindness makes the world rich through its relationship to God. These riches are intended to have us live in the fullness because as a body of Christ, the Jewish nation is waiting on the church of Jesus Christ to become full for the prophecy of its restoration to come to pass.
