In chapter 11 of Romans, Paul is giving us an understanding of Israel’s dilemma for the sake of the church. With Abraham, God had a chosen people in which He would speak to and through them what He said would go to the world. Israel was God’s loudspeaker to the earth. However, God foretold in the Old Testament about the Jewish nation therefore Satan’s dedication was against that group of people to destroy the amplifiers to God’s word. God then put Israel aside because He sent His Spirit to reside in people to be the ones to speak to the earth. We become what Paul reveals as the mysteries of Christ which were hidden in the cross. In light of these mysteries, Paul is writing the book of Romans. Does that change in God’s plans mean He rejected His people of the Jewish nation? Is God through with Israel because of their rejection of Jesus and the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ? Is Israel finished with its purpose? What about the national promises given to Israel?
