New Season, New Assignment

Perhaps some of you have been in a season of change and realignment, praying and waiting seeking direction as to what to do next?  God has taken you through a wilderness experience to find Him to get your battle wounds healed and become strengthened by Him for the new season ahead in your ministry.  It has been an emotional roller-coaster the past couple of years, you have been just sitting in a pew doing nothing and feeling left out and discouraged.  The longer you sit there and do nothing, the more you will drift from being close with God and doing the ministry that God called you to do.  Remember this, God is the one that called you and appointed you and empowers you by His Holy Spirit to do His work.  "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it to you."   John 15:16    God is not finished with you.  Get Up and stir the gifts of God that are in you my friend!  Get ahold of yourself, then get ahold of God.  Begin to spend more time in the Word of God and in Prayer and Worship.  Cultivate the things of God in your life and present yourself a vessel of honor, true and fired up, ready for use of the Master.  As Bishop T.D. Jakes would say, Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready!  (I love that saying.)          I like what God said to Moses in Exodus 34:2    -                     "So be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain."  I believe God is saying this to all of us.  Be instant in season or out of season to be called on to be used of God.  You will find that God's Holy Spirit still abides in you and is right there to empower you when you yield yourself for His use.  Be encouraged my brothers and sisters in Christ who are going through a season of change, it is something we all have to deal with as we move from one season into the next.  God didn't say we would always have it easy, but He did say that He would never leave us and would always be there when we needed Him.  Call on His name right now, check it out, He is there to lift you up and guide you through this hard time.

It is time for you to rise up and speak victory into your life!  Begin to declare what God has spoken over you and bring yourself up to the position that God has assigned to you.  God assigns us into positions of Teachers, Pastors, Prophets, Evangelists, Apostles, but we have to qualify ourselves and walk the talk to become who God has called us to be.  There is an old saying I have heard over the years that I like, it goes like this:  "If it's going to be, it's up to me."  You have to believe in yourself and know who you are in Christ and then walk in that position that God has called you in to.  I hope I am speaking to someone here.  Come on church, we have to step it up, get up and make ourselves ready for God's use.  The body need those who are gifted in the Prophetic to share God's words of healing, correction, love and direction.  God needs you to use your gifts and to walk in your calling with you head lifted high.  You know God is speaking to you now, so like our brother Alan Smith said, "Just Do It"   Blessings to you all.  Hope this helped someone, I know it's where I am too, coming into a new season of ministry.   It's time to get up and move now.
