The valley of dry bones is shaking again. Warriors are rising, but there's one critical element to the new life found in these old dry bones and thats in Psalms 22 14, " I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint." In order for these soldiers to rise again, the bones must connect again. Ephesian 4 tells us that we are not to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive. but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: from whom the whole body is fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Again in Colossians 2 Paul tells us to; let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. I tell you the truth; we can have all the muscle and strength of bones we want, but as David prophesied of the coming Messiah and the physical shape he would be in, I believe that it is also one of the trumpet blast for this generation. His bones are out of joint. As we see in Colossians, this is critical for the body of Christ because the joints nourish and hold together the body and cause it to grow with the increase that is from God.
We have seen increase in the body of Christ but I am not convinced that it has been the increase that is from God. However, God Himself is knitting us back together, strength is beginnig to flow through us as we speak. You have to admit one thing about unity, there is power in it. Thats why God confounded the languages at the tower of babel. God said," indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them." God confused their language so that they couldnt accomplish their objective. we see the exact opposite in the upper room after they were filled with the Holy Spirit, they were in one mind and one accord again able to speak to anyone the gospel message regardless of national origin or language. Yet we dont have the same desire to be one, we are out of joint and it causes the body to be weak and anemic. Dislocated joints want to go there own direction and lack the tools for health restrictions. They hyper extend and tear the ligament that are hold them together. But when we are in our rightful places there are natural restrictions that protect our range of motion and maximize the potential for power with out damage to the body. Amen!
May this shaking stirr a burden for unity of the Spirit like we have never had before so that we no longer try to face the enemy of our souls with a cripled and weak body. Lets pop the joints back into place and allow God to put all thing under our feet. God Bless!!!!
