Living on a prayer

I heard a story from Africa tonight where the Gospel was taken to a small village and a church planted. The members of the church came together to pray and each member went off to his own private spot in the jungle daily to do devotions. With doing this a path of each member was formed in the grass and if one slacked in his devotions an elder would come up to him and place his arm around his shoulder and say "Brother there is grass growing in your path". How many of us can say there is grass growing on our path and how many of use care enough for their brother to walk up and say brother there is grass on your path how are you? The 1st step in keeping your path clear is to pray both planned and as the day goes unplanned. Along with your prayer set aside a time each day to dig in to the word. For the most part it matters not where in the bible you read but that you read, praying for it to speak to you and manifest it's self in your life and soul and allow the father to pierce the heart with it.
