Imagine for a moment a throne seated in heaven... Surrounding this throne is beauty and glory beyond human comprehension. This throne emits such intense light that a glorious emerald rainbow surrounds it, emitting beams of color, thunders, lightning and myriads of angels are ministering to the One sitting upon this throne. Now consider the one sitting upon this throne: He is the very reason for life itself. His eyes are like piercing flames of fire, His face is shining brighter than the sun, He is dressed in dazzling, white raiment, with a golden sash around Him and His feet are like glowing bronze burned in a furnace.
Surrounding His throne are twenty-four elders casting their crowns before Him, four living creatures, crying, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who is, who was and who is to come.” He is the One who is worthy of all glory, honor and power. There are seven enormous pillars of blazing fire surrounding this throne and a sea of glass reflecting the radiance of this glorious scene.
This is not a fantasy; God invites us into this glorious place through relationship with Jesus Christ by His death and resurrection. He has made a way for us to enter in.
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” Let him who is thirsty come, drink of the water of life freely.
