For it is an Evil Time.
“They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.”
As we live, we live in an evil time, a time of confusion, a time of despair, and a time of fear.
In an evil time, for this world is evil, in a time of confusion, for we are constantly distracted in our minds, in a time of despair, for many are without hope, in a hopeless world, and a time of fear, for we are fearful of every sound of discontent.
All of these things distract from the knowledge of the Lord and His saving grace and mercy. Wars will come and go, fear can be replaced by assurance, confusion can be replaced by certainty and evil can be replaced by holiness.
In this time we have seen the rich steal from the poor, he has replaced certainty with doubt, and displace many from their homes for their greed. Many buy without counting the cost. Many build without knowing weather they are able to finish. Just as the man whom built his house upon the sand, a great storm approaches, it will consume all that have placed their trust in uncertain riches. Our politicians have become corrupt, greatly relying upon their popularity to regain their position of power. They are calling evil, good, and good, evil, for the sake of votes.
The institution of marriage has been under attack from both sides, calling a homosexual union a marriage, which is an abomination to the Lord. Many say this is equality, praying to the Lord for His guidance, and then promoting unrighteous acts of depravity. It is written of the end days that men shall change times and laws, many of these laws are evil, but when a man steps forward and acknowledges these as evil, he is reprimanded.
“And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not."
In todays society we are compassed by a great cloud of false witnesses, speaking evil of our testimony of the truth. We hear great orators, speaking words that encourage, words of prosperity, words of peace, words without substance, without truth. Great swelling words that are meant to deceive and blind men from the real truth. Great swelling words that are meant to enslave men, gain their trust and following, words of evil. They say that their words are just, but all who oppose their words are hated.
This world is headed to an end that shall rock this earth as a drunkered. Earthquakes, floods, wars, famines, each ushering in a time that has never been and shall never be again. But men do not wish to hear the truth, for their truth allows evil to exist within their view of world affairs. The governments do nothing to stem the tide of evil, wars are fought for gold, silver, diamonds, oil, land and false religions. But we see many say, we seek peace and safety for our people, while denying these same things to all who oppose their evil agenda. Christians are arrested and imprisoned for their testimony of Christ, hated for their refusal to bow down to worship false gods and idols.
“Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?”
Who among this world can convince the Christian community that our testimony is false? Who among you can prove that Jesus is not the Son of God, cannot save, cannot heal, cannot deliver and cannot protect His Children? Who among you can say that God does not exist with certainty? Many desire the Christian to prove what we say and believe is true, but rather let him that says, God does not exist and Jesus is not the chosen one, to prove otherwise.
For the Lord said of Himself, “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."
By grace threw faith are we saved, not by sight, not by works and not by our own righteousness.
“He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.”
Gods desire is that no man should perish, but not all shall be saved, not all shall be delivered, and not all shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. For mans hearts are on evil continually, hating the light, for they are aware that the light of truth shall reveal their unrighteous acts. When men steal, they do it in the darkness of night, they do it in the privacy of cubical’s and offices where they believe their acts shall be unknown to others, but the Lord knows, the Lord sees and the Lord hears.
“Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.”
For this world shall not have Jesus to reign over them, for He will not allow their evil deeds. The evil shall deal a great blow to all who enjoy unrighteousness. It shall consume them with a great and everlasting fire. Their houses of hewn stone shall fall with a great noise, their gold shall become cankered and forgotten, thrown into the caves for the rats and the moles. Mans wisdom has become his shame, for he knows nothing of the Lord, knows nothing of righteousness and knows nothing of these end days signs.
The wheat that they have stolen from the laborers shall become rancid and un-edible. The power that they have coveted shall be nothing, their name shall not be remembered with respect but with vile and contempt, for they have been deceiving themselves and others. They shall look upon their gods of greed, vanity, and lust, in the sides of the pit shall they look upon the one who ruled the nations, deceived the populace with great swelling words, and then shall they wonder, why they would believe upon such a weak and troublesome man.
