11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. (Amp)
Prophesy, Prophemi-meaning to make one's own thoughts known...Jesus loves to daily make his (Fathers) own thoughts known through US-his followers/sons, daughters.
I Corinthians 4:1 So then, let us be looked upon as ministering servants of Christ and stewards (trustees) of the mysteries (the secret purposes) of God. (Amp)
When I seek and find the (My) Father; I find Him seeking and finding ME. He wants to make His thoughts (secrets, mysteries) known to/through me as daily encouragement to my sphere of influence. Each of us has a (oikos) sphere of influence-those who we have the opportunity to influence for/as Jesus. Are we prophetic to our sphere of influence? Following is what it looks like.
14 1-3 Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it—because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim (prophesy) his truth. If you praise him in the private language of tongues, God understands you but no one else does, for you are sharing intimacies just between you and him. But when you proclaim (prophesy) his truth in everyday speech, you’re letting others in on the truth so that they can grow and be strong and experience his presence with you.
