Nurtured by His Sweet Aroma

"In Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance. Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way to salvation--an aroma redolent with life." 2 Cor. 2:14-15a, The Message.…

Look Up!

We look to God when our world is being shaken, only to find that it is God that is doing the shaking.

Luke 21:25-28a  There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars, and on earth dismay…

The Shaking and response

In Revelation chapter 1, we begin to see the response to the shaking of the earth and the heavens from the voice of God. The exciting news is the shaking has begun.  God is speaking.  The discovery of what He is saying is amazing.  God is saying, "Prepare to meet thy God."  In Revelation chapter 1 John meets God.

1.  We must be in the Spirit

2.  There will be a trumpet blast

3.  There must be a turning

4.  There will be an encounter

Hang ups

For so long in the Church we have gravitated to certain things.  Our discernment is sometimes off in some ways.  We need to be careful of what we are seeing and calling it the anointing or a demonstration of the power of God.

1.  Seems like we are more concerned with style than we are substance

2.  We seem to be more concerned with methods than we are message

3.  We seem to be core concerned with the things God uses than the God that uses them

4.  We are more…

Fix Your Eyes Upon Jesus

As I thought about this verse in Heb.12:2, I could sense the Holy Spirit wanted to convey something of a deeper dimension of the importance of what we fix our eyes, thoughts, and focus on. When we look at something, (either natural or spiritual,) we are seeking, searching, examining, and watching. When we focus on something it becomes our attraction, spotlight, center, heart and target.

The importance of what He was…

Light and Darkness

Genesis 1:3-4 (KJV)

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness."

God separated the light from the darkness in the very beginning.  We are seeing this separation occur increasingly in the world today.

In John 1:4-5…

God's Love to the World.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

May we continue to pray for the people of Japan. As hundreds of thousands of these people have lost their homes, and thousands who have lost loved ones. Please pray also that the radiation will be contained and that God’s love will be poured out throughout Japan and that people would turn to Jesus Christ in their hour of need.

Closer To The Light

Closer To The Light

When I began this Christian journey, I thought that each day I would grow and grow until I was truly a good and righteous man.  I thought that each time I looked inside of my heart there would be less to deal with because righteousness was coming upon me.  I thought that my growth would be, “to be more like Jesus”.  I thought that maybe I would grow into a spiritual giant.  If I am to be honest with God and myself, it is obvious that this is…

Children as a heritage from the LORD

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalm 127:3

Will you pray today for vulnerable children in Africa, such as young boys and girls who are Orphans in Kenya, who often face hunger and malnourishment? Pray for the provision of nutritious food to keep them healthy and strong.

"Daddy, Please Tell Me a Story"

Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)   The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”

God rejoices over us and wants us to enjoy him and the gifts he gives us.  He desires us to experience love, joy, peace and pleasure in this life.  He sings and rejoices over us even more than we…

Charles Spurgeon

I am reading a book by Charles Spurgeon.  He was talking about being in the cellar of trials and tribulations and about the cellar being the place where the King stored his choice wine.  So, when you're in the cellar of affliction, trials and tribulation look for the King's choice wine.

Nurtured by Intercession

Ron Ross March 24 at 4:31pm

I am learning slowly---that all effective intercession must first issue forth from Father's heart and then into and through my heart in agreement with Him, Jesus and Holy Spirit. We don't pray to Him/them, we pray with Him/them. I am just testing the waters of true intercession...…

Relationship with the Father.

Not long ago God begin to share with me many of the reasons why somethings have happened in my life that was formerly hidden from my vision.  We all face things that at times causes us to ask God what could possibly be the purpose for these things.  During such a time in my life that lasted for some time, God answered me and said

1.  In order to have fresh, vital life altering relationship with the Father you must first come to a complete end of yourself.

2.  To learn that…

The Power of the Sons of God!

What do you think the sons of God will look like?

Do you think you are one and how will you know?

I am seeing the signs of the end times come up before my face every time I turn on the news. Are you seeing this with me?

While I am sorry for the loss of human life as the earth…

God Fails Not.

1. God will never fail you 2. God will never abandon you 3. The Lord is your Helper 4. Don't fear what people can do to you. We all have problems and when you dwell on them your life will aggressively downward spiral into ruin. Don't talk "ABOUT" your problems; talk "TO" your problems. Cast that mountain into the sea in the name of Jesus. Declare I am victorious and a winner. That deserves a big Amen!!!!!!!!

This Fantastic Life

What is the focus of your life?

Have you ever heard... you are only as old as you feel? How about... do you like the life you are living in? What do you want your life to look like?

This life on earth is excitingly wonderful. Challenging... yes. But what would your life be if you had nothing to fix... nothing to make... nothing to organize... nothing to take care of?

Life is all about you taking charge, making decisions, choosing friends, living in faith,…

TODAY... God says, "I Love You."

Do you ever think about what God has done for you? Ever lose yourself thinking about love?

The love of a woman, although excitingly wonderful, overwhelmingly warm and undeniably compelling, can not compare to the eternal love God has for you. All that you experience is a little slice of what…

Look At Jesus.

Re post - Instead of looking at Jesus, Believers are misled by the devil into looking at themselves. For thousands of years, the devil’s strategy has not changed. He is a master of accusing you, pointing out all your flaws, weaknesses, mistakes & blemishes. He will keep on remind you of your past failures and use condemnation to perpetuate the cycle of defeat in your life.

Perception: Two Realities

Perception: Two Realities

By: Alan Smith

  • John 18:36: Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place." (NIV)

Two realities; which one have you chosen to live in: this World or the Kingdom of God?  Both of them are real, but one is greater than the other.  To live in one means to be competitive and…
