Here’s a New Year “Heads Up” for y’all...
Over the past 3 days I have had this extremely unusual desire for a bottle of wine. Any of you that know me well, know that I do not drink ... MAYBE one glass of wine a year ... and even that is quite rare for me. This desire for wine came over me…Continue
One thing I’m learning about my rear view mirror; albeit, rather slowly and painstakingly. You can’t drive into the future focused there. Rear view mirrors are only designed for an occasional glance to keep your bearings sighted for a more successful journey into the future. All this backing into the future has been a bumpy ride, to say the least.
The most remarkable facet about the past is just that! It’s the past: or is it? An old proverb; or is it a wives tale? Says…”he who has…Continue

Psalm 100: Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; W e are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with…Continue

Nurtured in Passion
What is passion? It is surely the becoming and releasing of our authentic self. Are we not, for most of our lives, marking time? Most of our being is at rest, unlived, unless sparked by passion. In passion; the body, soul and spirit seek expression outside of self. What we are ‘passionate’ about reveals the uniqueness that is ‘us’. Passion ignites giftedness and causes us to live out who we are~~ in the ‘image’ and ‘likeness’ of…Continue

Nurtured in Father’s Loving Gaze
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great…Continue

Life; ah life, oh ‘c—p’, I never seem to get life right, I always (at least it feels like always) seem to ‘pooh’ in my pants when I try to grasp ‘life’ by understanding ‘it’, and then, living ‘it’ by reducing the mystery of ‘it’ into a system of ideas about ‘it’, ideas I can manage…oops!
“I’m trying to reduce what you’re saying to…Continue

LITTLE BABY BOY, IN THE HAY, FAST ASLEEP
FULFILLMENT OF THE PROMISE THAT THE FATHER WOULD KEEP
WHAT CHILD IS THIS? GOD WAS BORN TO THE WORLD
AND HIS PLAN AT THAT MOMENT BEGAN TO UNFURL
THIS BLESSED DAY, SUCH A DAY TO BEHOLD
WISE MEN BROUGHT HIM GIFTS, FRANKINCENSE, MYRRH AND GOLD
THAT LITTLE BABY BOY, JESUS, IS HIS NAME
LEFT HIS THRONE IN HEAVEN, STILL, IN THAT MANGER, HE REIGNED
THEY ALL GATHERED ROUND HIM,…Continue

“Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.” (Luke 2:19 NIV)
What an interesting response to all the incredible events Mary had just gone through. I mean, really; finding out from the Angel Gabriel (in person) that she was to be impregnated by God and chosen to carry the fetus of the Son of God; as a virgin, no less. And then being troubled as to what this might mean for an unmarried mother-to-be in her day and culture. Discovering that instead…Continue

My wife Sondra and I moved to a new community last year. We moved to a nicer, quieter neighborhood to a house with a garage, a lawn, a backyard and more square footage! We love it! It was major upgrade and a tremendous blessing, praise God! The townhouse apartment we moved out of was nice but the new house is a huge step forward for us. Sometimes it feels like we just got here while at other times it seems that we’ve been here for years.
The townhouse is…Continue

Nurtured in His Viewpoint
"So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.

“Love Must Exceed Your Message”
By: Alan Smith
Esther 5:6-7: During the wine course the king said to Esther, "Now tell me what you really want, and I will give it to you, even if it is half of the kingdom!" Esther replied, "My request, my deepest wish, is that if Your Majesty loves me and…Continue
Kingdom flow is more important at this moment in His-story than ever! His Kingdom heart must beat in the “cradle of civilization”- our hearts. He is so willing to open the eyes and ears of our hearts, so that we can be immersed in the flow of his Kingdom thoughts toward us. I invite you to dive headfirst into the flow of his passionate heart.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end (a…Continue
This morning while at work I saw one of the biggest, most beautiful, spider webs. This magnificent tapestry must have taken this little spider all night long to painstakingly weave. The little micro-droplets of dew were still on it and it glistened in the morning sun. This little spider was proudly positioned in the middle of the web as if it were saying, "Look at what I've accomplished!"
Usually I'll admit I walk around in God's creation without stopping to see the many small…
