1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (NLT)
“ For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread 24 and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you,] Do this to remember me.” In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as…

The following came from a post on Face Book that an individual disagreed with and posted and made one follow up post. I having no idea who reads my posts but I thought perhaps I should enlarge this and clarify my heart. So I interviewed myself.

I did not come to know Christ for this.
written by Michael McBane
I was shown some things in the past days that I think many who read my thoughts may appreciate. I may repeat some points but my repetition is to drive some things deep so they don’t slip away. If you have ever seen the movie, “Cool Hand Luke” you know the famous line, “what we have here is a failure to communicate.” If I may take some liberty to express my view of the story. Luke is sentenced to prison in…Continue
Contagious: communicable by contact, catching, exciting similar emotions or conduct (i.e. your enthusiasm is contagious)
Will those I come in contact with today catch love from me? Will my presence be communicable with love? Will my loving character entice and excite others to experience the emotions and conduct of love? Christ in us is contagious and enticing!
“Mimic God; you are his offspring. This is how: let the love of Christ be in your life;…Continue

This will not be popular because some have relocated and postured themselves for something big. Before I go to far, please I am not a wet blanket but I listen and observe to see if there are missing links and I feel I have found some.

There seems to be a sense among most spiritualy tuned up folks that there Christendom is on the brink of some fantastic changes and the Kingdom of God will make remarkable advances.
There seems to be some shifting of political viewpoints throughout the world as well as in America that are generaly populist in nature.
Of course, we cant forget those Myan's and their 2012 predictions of massive universal and societal change of some sort beginning this year-just saying-give them…Continue
Perceptions, Cynicism: A Deceptive Perception

Is your life a bridge of Grace to the world you encounter each day? The same grace that is saving, growing and changing you is also intended to draw those around you to Jesus. How so? His awesome grace works from the inside out in our lives; changing us from glory to glory and wooing all whose lives we touch. Here are some of the incredible ways that his grace works in and through our lives.
The Bible portrays God’s Grace as the Manifold Grace of God. That simply means…Continue

A portion of an excellent converstation concerning Kingdom principles occurring on KPS involves the idea of the effect greed has on the functioning of the Kingdom of God in the earth.
My simple assertion is that the same scale should be used to weigh democrat, republican, wealthy, or poor and that the principles taught to us by Jesus that enable a righteous judgement to be made be universaly applied without prejudice.
Since in many minds politics and religion have become…Continue

The Progression of the Pilgrim
Blood on the Rocks
“What’s that?” I thought.
It seemed significant-somehow.
It must be important because everyone, mostly, just ignored it.
And with that thought came the realization of my shallowness and ignorance because in that thought was the sum total of my wisdom and all that I had learned in thirty summers.
All I knew…Continue
Be blessed, enjoy the day, and take pleasure in the fact that you and all humankind created by God and for God are his most valuable possession. You are special, a divine "let there be" and there is no one else, nor there ever anyone like you. You are a one-time design of the King of All Creation, so go forth in the joy and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over…Continue

Minding His Minding-Letting Go
“Though being in the form of God, equality with God He did not count a prize to seize. Rather, He emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness. And found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient to death, death on a Cross. (Phil.2:6-8)
Yes, the mind of Christ is a humble mind, a servant-minded mind, a mind obedient to God, a cross-bearing mind. To think of putting on such a mind as this, I…Continue
A prayer for the day…

Be encouraged, you are not the only one who feels like everything around you is out of control and flying apart. Were it not for the Gospel; I would believe the fear mongers, prognosticators and talking heads of the world’s media. Their case is so compelling to those whose ears are tuned to their opinions. That’s just it; don’t tune your heart to the lies of the world’s culture!
Listen only to the truth as it is in Jesus!

The world is now in the Valley of Decision. The consequences of every decision will be magnified and a little turn can lead to strikingly different destinations. This kind of repercussion for our choices has not been seen since the Garden. This is because the world is getting very close to becoming the Garden again—the kingdom of God is at hand.
Because of this, it will be the time of the greatest darkness for those…Continue

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem today.....
"For the Lord has chosen Jerusalem; he has desired it for his home.
“This is my resting place forever,” he said. “I will live here, for this is the home I desired. I will bless this city and make it prosperous; I will satisfy its poor with food. I will clothe its priests with godliness; its faithful servants will sing for joy. Here I will increase the power of David; my anointed one will be a light…
