Shout Grace, Grace to it!

“So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts.  'Who are you, O Great Mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" (Zechariah 4: 6-7 NKJV)

This is one of the great prophetic proclamations of The Bible. It speaks to our neediness and makes it abundantly clear that our ‘real’ life (i.e., our weaknesses,…

The Conversation

“Father, what you say seems so often out of my reach.” “ Son, that’s true. It is! What I desire for you is always out of your reach. But never out of the reach of  My faith within you. That’s why I had to send My Only Begotten Son and then My Spirit to bring real and abundant life within your faith reach. They open the door of your heart to this Divine conversation.”

“Come closer. Lay your ear on my chest. Can you hear and feel my heart beating? Every beat of my heart…

Are You Being Heard?

Do you ever feel like you’re not being heard? We cannot live without air to breathe or water to drink or sustenance for the body. But, our true self, our ID, can't live without being heard. If you experience a deaf ear for too long, your soul will shrivel up to a distortion of your potential. It's been said that being heard is the better part of true communication.

By Faith

"Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." Hebrews 11:1-3 NLT

"It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months when he was born. They saw that God had given them an unusual…

The Longing of Belonging

Most of us find it really daunting to pull back the façade or religious masks that we have gotten so used to letting others see or experience when around us. For some of us; we’ve been pretending for so long that we’re no longer sure of our true identity.…

The Bride Ready, Alert and Radiant

Everything that can be shaken; will be shaken and as the Bride of Christ feels the shaking she is begin to wake up readying herself to meet the Bridegroom; alert and radiant.

Yes, a worldwide shaking is occurring but while we are aware of this shaking, we look up at our beautiful bridegroom Jesus who beckons us to come, behold his glory and obey his direction; for he longs to have all that will come to him. Listen, hear Precious Holy Spirit in us testifying of Jesus that we can…

Drawn into Growth

The more mature person is not the one who has all their questions settled. The more mature person is the person who enters ever more deeply into the mystery and wonder of being Abba’s Child. His loving and resounding echo calls the heart to growth. If life is not lived at this level, it is lived at a superficial level.

Drawn Into the Mystery of Love

“Hang my locket around your neck; wear my ring on your finger. Love is invincible facing danger and death. Passion laughs at the terrors of hell. The fire of love stops at nothing - it sweeps everything before it.” (Song of Solomon 8: 6, Msg)

My journey into the mystery of love…

A New Affection

Is the Love of Jesus Christ captivating your heart today? Is he your heart's single affection?

Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847), made one of the boldest and most powerful declarations in the history of Christianity in his sermon entitled "The Expulsive Power of a New…

Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.  And I will give you the keys of…

Anchored in Faith

Is your faith anchored in a greater persuasion and opinion than your present afflictions, sufferings, and/or struggles? That's the "64" dollar question! Even though it sometimes feels like we are trapped in this flesh-suit and its crazy senses; our greater reality is quite the opposite. But that "greater reality" must be seen through the eyes of faith.

Our faith heroes received the testimony of their hope in faith. It was faith that made their hopes tangible. And faith…

Is Your Heart Strangly Warmed?

Do you hear what I hear? Is your heart strangely warmed within you--like the men who walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus right after he was raised from the dead? Or like Francis of Assisi have you heard the ‘call’ to walk away from the riches and stature offered in ‘Babylon’ (the world) and to care for the destitute and most marginalized around you?

Hearing the call of…

On His Mission!

"So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ,…

The Reservior of Christ Within

The longer I walk with Jesus; my Elder Brother, Lord and Savior, the more I need strengthening from the inside out! "Out of our innermost being flows the river of life." The flow of life more abundant is always and only from the inside out. It always has its origin and power in the reservoir of Christ in me! So why do I seem to persist in my veiled attempt at living from the outside in?

3:16 3:16 I desire for you to realize what the Father has given you from His own limitless…

Daily Encountering God

Encountering God through Hearing His Voice and Journaling

Journaling is a biblical method that will help you know God’s voice in your heart. The goal is “to encounter God personally.” When you encounter Him on a daily basis it cannot help but become relevant for daily life and healthy for your soul (mind, will, emotions, and heart).

God always desires to speak to His children. However, we don’t know how to tell the difference from his voice, our own…
